Holiday Gift Guide for Teen Boys

Some people may think that coming up with gift ideas for the teenage girls on your holiday shopping list is difficult, but I’m here to tell you that teenage boys are WAY harder.  Given that I have boy/girl twins and have been riding the teenage roller coaster of fun for the past three years, I’ve done my fair share of searching for cool and unique gifts.  These ideas below are all approved by my sixteen year old son, so you can feel confident that your gifts will not be total failures.

  1.  Blue Light Blocking Glasses:  If like me, you’ve got a gamer on your list, he likely spends 99.9% of his time staring at a computer screen.  These REAL WOOD glasses will help to protect his eyes from the light that’s emitted from electronic screens, which could in turn even help him to get better sleep!  Win, win!
  2. Chillbo Inflatable Couch:  This inflatable sofa fills with air within minutes and is big enough to seat two people.  He can use it for lounging in his room or even outdoors.  The price is great too!
  3. Reclaimed Bike Tube Reflective Wallet:  Every dude needs a wallet, and this one is not only cool, but it’s also made from upcycled bike inner tubes.
  4. Apple Series 3 GPS Smart Watch:  I’m amazed at the low price on this smart watch!  Perfect for the techy teen!
  5. Wembley Game Target Alarm Clock:  This is genius!  He will actually have to hit the target in order to turn off the alarm!  This might just be a sanity saver, y’all!
  6. Crave Box Care Package:  Teenage boys are all about snacking and clearing out the pantry on the daily.  This awesome snack package has 60 different varieties of munchies that will at least hold him over for a day.
  7. Caynel Mini Fridge Cooler:  As previously mentioned, most growing boys love to eat so this compact little fridge will come in handly when he needs to wash down all those snacks.  It may look small, but it’s big enough to hold eight 12 oz cans (of soda, people!  Come on, now!  I know what you were thinking!)
  8. Couchmaster Lapboard/Lapdesk:  This ergonomic system will make him one happy couch potato!  It allows for up to four input devices (like a mouse, keyboard, headset, etc.) . There’s even a place to hold a drink!
  9. Anker Powercore Portable Charger:  My son has this charger and swears by it!  It’s one of the smallest and lightest chargers that delivers the fastest charging out there.
  10. Hookey Ring Toss Game:  This safe alternative to a dart board will be the perfect addition to his man cave!
